Superheroes, anime characters invade Eton City
MANILA, Philippines - Your favorite superheroes, villains and anime characters will come to life in “The New World†this February at Eton City. This much-anticipated giant anime display is a five-day affair featuring exciting games, cosplay show, a grand bazaar with heroes and villains as theme.
A giant anime display (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and robot-making contest (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will kick off the event on Feb. 11. For registration requirements and mechanics, call 0939-1108369 and 0917-8671932. This will be followed by an Acoustic Night (6 to 9 p.m.) on Feb. 14. Couples as well as friends and families will surely enjoy spending Valentine’s Day on this romantic, music-filled evening featuring a selection of local bands and talents.
On Feb. 15, there will be interactive display (6 to 9 p.m.) and game booths (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) kids will surely love. The good guys will clash with the bad folks during the game tournaments between heroes and villains on Feb. 16, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The culminating activity on Feb. 17 is the grand cosplay contest where anime and comic character fans from all over will showcase their costumes to the public.
