Megaworld International soars in 2012

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Megaworld International, the vast overseas sales network of property developer Megaworld Corporation, had a lot to celebrate as it scaled what was regarded as an impossible sales target for 2012.

Led by the hardworking first vice president Marivic Acosta, Megaworld International blitzed its way to the party theme “The Power of One,” an important milestone, since everyone worked towards achieving that one goal: continue Megaworld’s stride as the no. 1 developer of residential condominiums.

Acosta feted the group’s vaunted sales directors and managers for a free trip to and hotel stay in Manila from their Europe, North America and Asia bases recently at the exclusive Genting Club in Resorts World Manila.

On hand to congratulate Megaworld International’s sales achievers were Megaworld executive director Kingson Sian and senior executive vice president Lourdes Gutierrez.

Among the projects that helped Megaworld International overshoot its sales target were Bayshore Residential Resort in the upcoming Resorts World Bayshore City in Entertainment City Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila in Newport City and One Uptown Residence in Uptown Bonifacio, The Fort.

For their last activity within the country, Acosta led the entire group to a tour of Boracay Newcoast, the largest master-planned tourism estate in Boracay Island and the maiden tourism offering of Megaworld’s sister firm Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI).

With such a landmark year in 2012, Megaworld International can only look forward to a much better 2013, as long as her formidable team remains “One,” Acosta declared.
