Christmas naturally at Kultura Filipino

MANILA, Philippines - Christmas came early to Kultura Filipino as it launched Christmas Naturally, a pre-holiday bazaar held recently at SM Makati.

 Members of the expat community and foreign clubs, civic leaders, corporate executives and lover of all things Filipino gathered together for this pre-holiday event, which showcased the store’s homespun holiday collection.  It also highlighted Kultura’s Crafts for a Cause, products from livelihood projects of foundations that have adopted marginalized communities as their beneficiaries.

Senator Loren Legarda graced the event, as did Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma, The Netherlands Embassy’s Ruth Emmerink and Sander Timmers, Kit Zobel, Margarita Fores, and Terri Madrigal.

Representatives from Kultura’s Crafts for a Cause partners Dee Anne Zobel for the E. Zobel Foundation, Vicky Wieneke for the Kabisig ng Kalahi, Sister Luz Maria Buitrago of the Holy Family Foundation, Darlene Pridmore of Hope International Ministries, Lalaine Guanzon of the Circle of Friends Foundation and Jan Harris of Berdesaco were also present. Ladies of the Latino American Group and the Manille Bienvenue French Association came in full force.

They were welcomed by SM officials led by SM Investments vice chair Tessie Sy Coson, SM Hotels and Convention Corporation president Elizabeth Sy and SM Foundation executive director Debbie Sy, as well as Kultura Filipino vice president Ivy Yap.

Kultura Filipino stores are located at SM Makati, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM City Cebu, SM Lanang Premier, and at selected SM Department Stores.
