Team congeniality
Team Philippines, composed of Mercedes-Benz customers and steered by country captain, CATS Motors, Inc. public relations director Emy Arcilla, participated in the prestigious Mercedes Trophy Asian Finals golf tournament held in Queensland, Australia. For the fourth time in seven years, the Philippine delegation, headed by CATS Motors, Inc. president Felix Ang, was voted by the other participating country teams as the winner of the “Team Congeniality” award. Eight countries vied in the Asian Finals, with Taiwan emerging as the overall team champion and meriting the “Nation Cup” award. The team also enjoyed the thrilling Mercedes-Benz Active Safety Driving program while test driving the latest Mercedes-Benz models, guided by expert Australian and German driving instructors. To complete the experience Down Under, Felix Ang hosted a full-day tour around Queensland and the famous Surfers’ Paradise capped by a special giant Tasmanian King Crab dinner.
Ironman triathlon in AmiSa
Over 1,700 athletes from 30 different nations, comprised of professionals and Filipino elite who are the best in their sport, recently trooped to Cebu for the Ironman 70.3 Philippines event. The race covered a 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike ride, and a 21-kilometer run.
