An evening of royal citations

With the Filipino professional’s exemplary contributions in various fields, The Royal Institution Singapore, in cooperation with the Royal Institution Manila, held “An Evening of Citations” to honor deserving individuals. Led by Royal Institution Manila chief executive officer Dr. Celia Kiram, vice president, Dr. Helen Molano and organized by International Association of Educators for World Peace national chancellor, Dr. Josef Ubaldo, the event was held at the garden poolside of Hotel Intercontinental, Makati City to recognize professionals in the fields of alternative medicine, education and public administration, among many others, including civic leader and All Nation’s Women’s Group president and Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Inc. corporate secretary Lolita Mirpuri who received a Fellow Royal Institute for Public Administrators citation. Special guest speakers were Philippine Breast Care Foundation, Inc. chairman and Life Oil Moringa Oleifera formulator Andy Lugtu and Philippine Breast Care Foundation, Inc. president Malou Cortez.

Swanky salon times two

There’s no stopping the upscale Emphasis Salon, home to the metropolis’ top makeup and hair artists like Japanese stylist Higuchi, as it opened a second branch at the fourth level of the country’s premier department store Rustan’s in Makati. The new shop is also operated by Teng Roma, the creative director of the original Emphasis Salon in Rockwell Center, Makati, with a vivacious CPA named Salome Uy and a successful travel agent Claudette Vitug as business partners. Emphasis Salon’s major clients belong to the A-list.
