Talented beauties with a purpose
A gathering of beauties and talents recently took place at The Bellevue Manila, Southern Metro’s destination of choice for lavish events, for the Miss World Philippines 2012 Talent Night. The Grand Ballrooms B and C of the hotel were filled with the 25 candidates plus Manila’s A-listers who brought glamour to the cocktail party and talent presentation of the Miss World Philippines hopefuls. Miss World Philippines director Cory Quirino, the panel of judges and guests were all delighted to see the ladies as they showed their prowess in singing, dancing, guitar playing, beat boxing and painting. The hotel’s well-appointed grand ballrooms served as the perfect venue complemented by the scrumptious cuisine and impeccable services of its highly-trained staff under the helm of The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts’ (BH&R) managing director Patrick Chan and corporate director for marketing and communications Ryan Chan.
Keeping traditions alive
Relatives and friends strengthen a tradition especially for the closely knit 12 Tayag siblings. The endearing Minerva Tanseco was a witness to both the bond and the tradition during the tribute held in memory of the clan’s matriarch, Ima, by the prominent Renato and Adoracion Tayag clan of Angeles, Pampanga. The couple owns the city’s prestigious Carmenville subdivision. Let me paraphrase George Santayana: The family is truly one of nature’s masterpieces and belonging to one that appreciates your true self is a treasured experience.
