Manila, Philippines - The structure of the first tower of top-end residential condominium Arya Residences in Bonifacio Global City has been completed.
Boutique property developer ArthaLand, together with its team of technical experts, reached the top floor of the 39-storey luxury development in 16 months’ time, two months ahead of schedule. The topping off is the culmination of more than two million man-hours with no lost time to accidents due to strict implementation of safety and quality standards.
“We are well within our target turnover schedule beginning the first quarter of 2014 for Tower 1,” says ArthaLand President and CEO Angie de Villa-Lacson. “Aside from the timely delivery of the project, we also strive to exceed our clients’ expectations by ensuring that our projects are built based on high quality standards.”
As a world-class development, it is built based on internationally acknowledged measures of a truly luxurious green building. The two-tower Arya Residences is the first high-rise residential development in the Philippines registered under the US Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program with a certification goal of gold. It promises a luxurious and sustainable living experience, intelligently designed with value-added features that are in line with ArthaLand’s future-proof philosophy.
“Arya Residences is the first and so far the only residential development in the Philippines that will employ a double glazed, low-E glass window system from ground floor to the penthouse. This luxury of heat and noise protection — usually done only by five-star hotels — is now in every Arya Residences unit,” beams de Villa-Lacson.
The ArthaLand CEO adds, “Keeping in mind the need to communicate and connect — whether for business or family use — Arya Residences has integrated a fiber optic system that will allow seamless and uninterrupted triple play technology. This provides convenience in telephone, internet and cable TV experience for the residents at the speed of light.”
Arya Residences is designed to meet the homemakers’ definition of good taste and class as they live and embody it. Every unit’s kitchen will have top grade finishes and fixtures such as elegant quartz countertop and European-grade modular overhead and undercounter kitchen cabinets. Unlike granite, quartz is less porous, scratch resistant and is extremely durable. Hinges and drawer runners for cabinets use Blum fittings system, sought after because of their high quality, well thought-out functionality, good design and high durability. Shower head, faucets, lavatory and water closet in the bathrooms will use top-end Japanese brand Toto, preferred by luxury hotels for sturdiness, innovative design, and refined aesthetics.
Explaining the level of luxury put into Arya Residences, de Villa-Lacson says, “We are not here just to fulfill needs. We are here to delight our clients. Arya Residences’ first tower is the tangible proof of this promise, a unique template for the level of attention to quality that we will give in the second tower and in more projects to come.”
The first tower offers low-density living with only up to 10 units each floor. Each 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units range in size from 63 to 225 square meters. Majority will have balconies. The tower has five basement levels of parking space with each unit having a corresponding parking slot or more for bigger units. The basement parking has light wells for added natural lighting and ventilation, and slots for bicycles and low-emission/fuel efficient cars.
Other features of the tower are three high-speed passenger elevators, 100 percent backup power for all units and common areas, water reservoir and separate fire reserves, semi-addressable fire alarm and detection system, CCTV system for common areas and elevator car, 24-hour security and maintenance, mail room, drivers lounge, administrative office and a centralized waste management system.
The main amenities that exemplify the project’s commitment to green living are The Plaza, an elevated retail area under a majestic glass canopy reminiscent of al fresco dining in Europe. At the fourth level is The Terrace, a landscaped residents’ leisure area located between the two towers.
Other amenities found at the Terrace are a 25-meter lap pool, kiddie pool, leisure pool, open deck, open garden with seating, outdoor playground, indoor children’s play area, landscaped walking trail, function rooms, fitness center facilities and a media room that may also serve as a lounge section.
