Major clients and distributors of the country’s premier construction and home improvement supply firm attended a get-together — the blessing of the new home of Wilcon executive vice president and chief operating officer Rosemarie Bosch-Ong. The tireless COO took the occasion to present Wilcon Depot’s high-quality construction materials, lighting and bathroom fixtures, and stylish houseware with her new Valle Verde abode as the showcase. It was also an opportunity for Hoseki founder Faico and his wife Zabeth Co (good friends of Rose) to showcase their “wearable sculptures,” one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces from the award-winning design studio with designer Knoi Esmane. Everyone was delighted at Rose’s new interiors and equally captivated by the alluring well-crafted jewelry creations of Hoseki.
A Mega fashion celebration
To mark its 20th year in the industry, Mega magazine, the country’s first glossy fashion magazine, celebrated an evening of great aesthetics and impeccable craftsmanship with the recently concluded Mega Young Designers Competition (YDC) 2012 at the NBC Tent. The competition, conceptualized by brilliant Mega founder and editor-in-chief Sari Yap and her dynamic team in 1994, has become a platform to discover new, promising talents in the world of fashion. Highlight of the evening was the spectacular fashion show featuring the grand collections of six talented designers vying to become the newest face to join the country’s pool of top fashion designers. Sari and innovative Mega Publishing Group chairman Jerry Tiu awarded this year’s top prize to Renan Pacson. Congratulations! Bravo to MEGA for paving the way for aspiring designers to achieve their dreams!
