Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes opens main access road

MANILA, Philippines - Top officials of Horizon Land, Federal Land Inc., and the Manila City government recently inaugurated the Garden Road of Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes, the exclusive access to Manila’s biggest kid-friendly garden community in Paco, Manila. Dr. George S.K. Ty, chairman of the Metrobank Group of companies, and Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which formally opened the main access road of the 8-tower development.

Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes is strategically located between Manila and Makati cities. The Garden Road serves as an easy access to downtown Manila, which connects to Quirino Avenue Extension-Otis. The other access road and gate, through Peñafrancia St., is another way to Makati City. 

In his speech before officials and guests of the Garden Road inauguration, Mayor Lim congratulated Horizon Land, a subsidiary of Federal Land, for helping develop the city and improve its image through various residential projects.

Mayor Lim said, “The Ty family is a seasoned developer, and their projects also benefit the surroundings.” The Mayor recognized Horizon Land for leading property developments in Manila and added that he is hoping Horizon Land would continue to build more developments in the city.

Each of the project’s eight residential towers will have mostly two-bedroom units with floor areas of 33.6 to 35.2 square meters. The first tower, the 16-storey Molave, is scheduled for turnover in 2012. The other towers under construction are the Maple, Narra, and a multi-level carpark.
