EPFC celebrates Elvis' 77th birthday
MANILA, Philippines - The Elvis Presley Friendship Club Phils. Int.’l will commemorate the 77th birth anniversary of Elvis on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Quattro Music Bar and Restaurant, 96 Timog Avenue, Quezon City, as announced by Chito Bertol, founding chairman of the club, the only Filipino club accredited by Graceland, USA, and a member of the Elvis Presley Alliance of Asia to include Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. Tommy Ooi, the chairman of the Elvis Presley Alliance of Asia, will be the special guest during the occasion together with Justin Lim, the Elvis Presley of Hong Kong. Ooi will be giving away many raffle prizes during the occasion. Free entrance and EPFC T-shirts will be given away to EPFC card-holding members, plus members will be given a free lunch courtesy of club member Ludy Guarin. Likewise, many Elvis Presley tribute artists and the Pinoy Elvis Band will be featured during the celebration, which is open to all members. Bertol is also the host of the Elvis Presley Sunday Specials, a two-hour radio program playing exclusively the best, rarest and latest of Elvis at AM station DZSR 918 every Sunday from 8 to 10 in the morning.
