The glorious tale of two countries
The Philippine embassy in Madrid recently celebrated two historic occasions – the Philippine Independence and the Philippine-Spanish friendship days at the Intercontinental Hotel of Madrid in Spain. Philippine ambassador to Spain Carlos Salinas and wife Lita graciously hosted the vibrant soiree that was well-attended by Filipino residents as well as diplomatic guests. Starting off the affair were Ambassador Carlos and Senator Edgardo Angara, who delivered heartwarming speeches. Aside from the excellent camaraderie, guests truly enjoyed the delectable Filipino dinner impeccably served along with the special going-away tokens! What a fantastic revelry indeed! Congratulations!
