Real estate festival set
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Real Estate Festival (PREF ) will be holding its festival at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on July 28 to 31 with this year’s theme, “Real Estate, Tourism, and Media: A Tripartite Collaboration for National Progress.”
Among the many highlights and activities of this major event will be the launching of the PREF PIA Student Architectural Design Excellence Award 2011. A recognition of students’ thesis project for 2010-2011 on Housing and Resort Development.
This award aims to recognize the creativity and excellence in design of Filipino students. It aims also to prepare future architects for global practice. The Philippines as a rich source of human resource with high ratings in the global market is partially due to the country’s institutions, providing young graduates with significant education that can prepare them for the demands of the global realities.
The PREF PIA Student Architectural Design Excellence Award intends to provide a venue to expose students to such a global climate. This honors not just the winners but also their schools and universities.
