'ANALOGous' at LRI Design Plaza

-

MANILA, Philippines - As LRI Design Plaza celebrates its 7th anniversary as the metro’s design hub, a fusion of art and sound will open the LRI Artist Series featuring Ani ng Dangal Presidential Awardee for Visual Art Rosscapili.

From March 23 to April 2 (with opening cocktails on March 23 at 6 p.m.), Rosscapili collaborates with OneWorkshop and interior designer Pinky Peralta in “ANALOGous: DeTubo + Debuho + Lumang Plaka + Bagong IDeya”, a marriage of retro and classic pieces that invites viewers to lounge, sit back, and enjoy the homey albeit nostalgic repertoire of sound and interior design. Peralta has six set ups — “Filipino Vernacular,” “Casual Classic,” “Modern Funky,” “Bohemian,” “Post Modern” and “Retro” — spread on the second floor. While guests lounge and walk about, they will be serenaded with tunes from vinyl LP records and vintage de tubo amplifiers. The ambient exhibit aims to introduce these classic gems to the contemporary art and design scene.
