A blessed tradition in honor of Mother Mary
To show their continuous love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Cofradia de la Immaculada Concepcion, a lay organization in the Archdiocese of Manila, recently held its 31st Marian procession in front of the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros. It was led by visionary founding chairman and philanthropist Meldy Cojuangco with hermana mayores Nellie Bengzon, Thelma Gana and Ces Manalo. After the hermana mass officiated by Lipa, Batangas archbishop Ramon Arguelles, the grand Marian procession took place with almost 90 carrozas bearing the different titles of the Blessed Virgin joining the religious parade.
