The affair started with a symbolic curtain unveiling led by the dynamic Diamond Hotel Philippines chairman of the board Ramon Ang, lovely president Cecile Ang and special guest Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno. The evening became more memorable as guests were treated to topnotch entertainment and a fantastic spread of world cuisine as showcased on the Corniche buffet stations.
Dressed up to win
The best costume designs were recently showcased in a thrilling costume party and competition in the paradise island of Boracay as Fila’s heroine and chief executive officer Cris Albert came up with the best ideas to create one of the most exciting gatherings on the island. Dressed in all shapes, sizes and characters, the contestants presented their creativity by incorporating the favorite sporting clothing line’s accent in their costumes: be it a shirt, sock, cap, bag or shoes from the top-selling brand’s different lines such as Classic Fila, high technology Everest, the rough Outdoors or the fun ad flirty Tiva. Directed by the award-winning stage actress Ana Abad Santos, the event was a huge success as it featured the new holiday collection that was followed by an exhilarating party.
Recreating luxury
Three of the country’s most admired jewelry designers Kristine Dee, Michelline and Paul Syjuco recently unveiled their latest creations at the Triad Reluxe exhibit. With a lavish cocktail party presented by Firma together with Ayala Malls, Moet and Stephanie Zubiri’s Modern Epicurean Kitchen, jewelry fanatics marveled at the latest collections from the brilliant designers who based their work on the idea of renewable luxury through the use of reclaimed metals or components. The successful launch definitely etched the ideas of luxury, sustainability and recycling in the minds of the most skeptical jewelry aficionados and society’s A-listers who all enjoyed the sight of the equally striking and wearable pieces of jewelry.
