MANILA, Philippines - Paris, qui sera toujours Paris. While it is true that “Paris will always be Paris,” over the centuries, the French capital has also been known to dress itself up with magnificent sites that arouse overwhelming passion in the hearts of the kings and great men of this world.
South Forbes Golf City, the country’s largest fully integrated and all-themed golf resort city at the forefront of the Metro Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay corridor, recipient of the Best Golf Community Development by the 2007 CNBC International Property Awards, the world’s most prestigious property awards program, and, recently, the Highly Commended Award for Best Development by the 2010 Bloomberg Asia-Pacific Residential Award, unveils Châteaux de Paris, its pièce de résistance, which exudes the same charm and mystery that has made Paris the legendary city that it is.
From the main gate, the tree-lined and lighted main avenue reminiscent of the Champs Elysée, the first visible feature will be The Clock Tower, the centerpiece of The Grand Garden at the very center of the property. From The Grand Garden, four different allée, or alleys bordered by trees or clipped hedges, radiate out towards the four main parks, each adorning the four quadrants of the enclave. Two reflection ponds and beautiful gardens border The Clock Tower, from which Châteaux de Paris residents can watch over their dominion.
The French Pavilion lies at the allée North of The Grand Garden. Its circular dome offers ample seats and benches for residents to while away the time. The Southern allée leads towards The Theatre, as inspired by French outdoor theaters common during the 18th century. Creative performances can be staged by families at its elevated platform to the delight of their neighbors. The Green Hall lies along the Eastern allée. It features a tree-lined hallway that leads towards a central water fountain and a feature wall. Its open lawns are multi-purpose spaces for recreation and play. An interesting landmark, l’Orangerie, lies at the Western allée’s end. It was inspired by the orangeries that cultivated the then exotic orange fruit from East Asia in the 18th century. Since the Philippines is a tropical country, The Orangery will feature the local citrus dayap.
The essence of every enclave is the homes. Châteaux de Paris presents a taste of four French design styles in four different homes: the classical Chambord, the contemporary Chantilly, the moderne Fontainebleau, and the provincial Rambouillet bungalow — each with its unique layout to match the varying preferences of different homeowners.
Soon to adorn Châteaux de Paris’ cobblestone streets are its latest additions to the royal family: Bordeaux, Clermont, and Lafayette. With the concept of the enclave revolving around the splendor of French gardens like that of the French capital, there will be more garden space in each of these new homes.
