Preview spotlights Cebu
MANILA, Philippines - Hot on the heels of its feature on the country’s upcoming designers, Preview hones in on the talent brimming in the Queen City of the South. “It’s no secret that Cebu has always been a hotbed of design talent,” says editor in chief Pauline Juan. “So for our October issue, we mine the wealth of new fashion designers in the province.”
This new crop of fashion designers include Hanz Coquilla, Mique Yapching, Barbie Alvez, Peewee Senining, Lord Maturan, Philipp Tampus, Rom Yu, Vania Romoff, Brendon Van Cenon, and Mary Ty.
Aside from training the spotlight on these designers, Preview also devotes this month’s Preview Prefers section to “the movers and shakers of Cebu’s artistic community,” as Juan calls them. Get to know Cebu’s next generation of furniture designers, discover the newest dining places in the metro, and read more about the It-girls, filmmakers, and musicians who are all proud to call Cebu home.
