MANILA, Philippines - Tang, the leading powdered fruit drink mix from Kraft Foods, introduces a new way to sample their fruity drinks while grocery shopping.
Shoppers can now sample Tang’s 13 fruit flavors in the Tang Transformational Refreshment Bar, which was launched recently at South Supermarket in Filinvest, Alabang.
“The Tang Transformational Refreshment Bar looks like an ordinary shelf on the aisle. The happy hour begins from 12 to 2 p.m, and 5 to 7 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,” says Roel Imperial, Kraft Foods Phils. Category Management champion.
“On these days we will let them try Tang fruit drinks for free,” shares Michael John Abdon, category sales manager for beverages of Kraft Foods Phils., Inc. “This will run for three months with the featured flavors varying each week. This will give shoppers the opportunity to try the other delicious fruit flavors that they don’t usually buy for their household.”
Breaking away from the usual way of giving out samples, Tang thought of this innovation for adults and kids alike to have a new way to enjoy their grocery shopping.
“Summer is the perfect season to try new things and in this case flavors. We will introduce this concept in other major supermarkets in the metro and other parts of the country as well so that every Filipino can enjoy the refreshing taste of Tang,” enthuses Rose Arandez, national category sales manager of Kraft Foods Phils.
