'Town & Country' goes green

MANILA, Philippines - As the urban jungle swelters in the summer heat, it becomes more and more tempting to escape to a place with fresh air, clear skies and green pastures. This May, the pages of Town & Country offer that escape as it returns to nature with a country and green issue.

Town & Country takes the scenic route around the archipelago this month. A culinary adventure to Tagaytay reveals what makes the city a gastronomic delight, as Town & Country samples the flavors of Fire Lake Grill, Kalamunda, and Antonio’s.

Aside from an exclusive getaway to Boracay, Town & Country also returns to a simpler time and life as they feature the homespun pleasures of Palayupoy resort in Ilocos Norte. Pastel hues and floral accents also punctuate this month’s fashion pages, bringing a touch of Mother Nature to your wardrobe.

American-born, half-Greek and half-Filipina cover girl Geni Psinakis shares why she chose to settle in her mother’s country and how she plans to continue the family’s legacy of philanthropy.

The May issue of Town & Country is available in newsstands and bookstores nationwide.
