Visuals with Visions for Filipino pride

-

MANILA, Philippines - Visuals with Vision (VWV) in partnership with Oneline is calling for entries to promote Filipino pride. VWV is a social design competition concept that organizers from YOCard aim to promote. This competition is open to creative output in photography, graphic design and illustration.

This year’s beneficiaries are forerunners in promoting Filipino pride and supporting our local culture — The Outlooke Pointe Foundation, OneTama and Yabang Pinoy. The themes present a variety of added dimension to the challenge — Artists Supporting Artists Supporting the Nation, Pinoy Pride in Action and Ipagyabang na Ikaw ay Pilipino.

OneTama’s co-founder Boyet Dy hopes that “through Visuals with Vision, we can share the vision of OneTama with more Filipinos and drive home its message of everyday heroism with greater impact and recall.”

Last year’s first VWV competition featured themes that promoted children’s literacy, saving the seas and pet adoption, which were showcased at Greenbelt 3. Three outstanding works came from Kasey Albano, Mon Corpuz and Christine de Felix.

YOCard was never a stranger to creative executions. Local design talents have also lent their hands to creating successful campaigns for Earth Day, Cancer Awareness and Design Beautification. These campaigns have contributed to bringing attention to each cause.

All entries including the winning ones will be printed in postcard form and will be up for public viewing. The competition is from April to July. For more information, log on to www.yocardonline.com and www.oneline.ph.
