The county’s top and highly respected architects, designers and artists recently gathered for a rare celebration of art and design at FurnItalia, the country’s sole purveyor of authentic Italian furniture located in Fort Bonifacio, Global City.
During the launching of the interior design book, Tropical House: Cutting Edge Design in the Philippines by internationally-recognized writer Elizabeth Reyes, affable FurnItalia managing director Florence Ko warmly welcomed everyone as they entered the posh FurnItalia building, which is truly a picture of elegance and class with its sophisticated interiors and luxurious display of high-end Italian furniture such as Molteni & C, Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Cassina, Flexform, among others.
From the delectable appetizers and decadent desserts down to the sparkling wines, the generous hostess made sure guests had a great time as they enjoyed a delightful evening of great food, excellent company and world-class designs.

The world’s best armchair
Award-winning designer Jean-Marie Massaud’s “Archibald Armchair” for premier Italian brand Poltrona Frau recently won the Best Armchair Award, so announced the high-end, international design and lifestyle publication Wallpaper magazine in its February 2010 Design Awards issue.
