Nothing to do on V-Day? How about a fashion show?

-

MANILA, Philippines - Dita Sandico-Ong (DSO) and Linda Reyes-Romualdez, passionate environment and local products advocates, are partners in crime when it comes to self-growth, self-love, spirituality and a lot of pampering.

So they decided to start off the year with Dita’s fashion show on Feb. 14 — to be held at Linda’s Dive and Spa resort in Anilao, Batangas — to coincide with the twin celebration of Valentine’s Day and the Lunar Year of the Tiger.

Dita will be featuring her new collection of latest fashion wraps on top of the latest swimwear by Twinkle Ferraren. Fabrics made of indigenous banana fiber woven by community weavers from Baras, Catanduanes, as well as abel Iloko.

Linda will show off Casita Ysabel, a nature sanctuary designed in the simple, traditional Filipino architecture of the old days, but decorated in her style and offering homey rooms, healthy meals, and an array of spa treatments such as her Tre signature massage and popular organic volcanic ash facial and body mask.

The event opens at 10 a.m. with a trade fair featuring local products and produce and a mini-bazaar offering organic goods followed by a healthy lunch. Cocktails will be served at 4 p.m. The DSO fashion show starts promptly at 5 p.m.

For room requirements and directions, visit www.casitaysabel.com.

Ticket reservations may be made with Remy at the DSO boutique on 35 Wilson St., Greenhills, tel. no. 584-7260, mobile no. 0918-715-3411.
