Design's the limit at BoConcept
MANILA, Philippines - BoConcept’s DNA is its ability to exactly identify the spirit of the times. By building on the opportunity to combine colors, fabrics, shapes and materials, the Danish furniture chain has been judged as the world’s most dynamic. This dynamism lies behind its new design collection.
The 2010 collection puts emphasis on quality and texture of materials. It invites interior design lovers to enjoy a multitude of colors and forms by bringing together three style inspirations: Delicate Detail, Pure Pole, and Mania Mix.
Delicate Detail is all about living the good life. It draws on the artistic and celebrates aesthetics through precious materials and colors associated with natural accents. As the name implies, the perfection is in the detail. Subtle hints that put together a look that can be modified to be as unique as each detail on a snowflake.
Pure Pole stems from the love of nature. It draws off various tribal cultures of the world that results in a raw yet harmonious and modern appearance. The rough textures of sand and stone are tempered with the use of beautiful fabrics in beautiful colors like cactus green, dark brown, yellow ochre, and grays.
As a contrast, Mania Mix is an explosion of color, a play of new and exciting ideas. It represents the spontaneous and relaxed lifestyle full of energy and fun that exudes an infectious optimism expressed by strength. With The unique fusion of materials, colors, and textures you can definitely make each piece fit your room perfectly because the flexible furniture offer no limits.
Standout Pieces
Highlights of the 2010 are the iconic interior design marvel Imola Chair, the playful Rock chair, the innovative Lugo Sofa System that transforms from a basic sofa to a lounge, and the elegant Modena wall system.
The new Imola chair from BoConcept is a delight to the eye with design roots dating back to the 1950s. In order to suit today’s purity of design, the organic lines have been tightened. The characteristic design is playful, yet luxuriously comfortable.
“The Rock is a small chair with big comfort,” designer Henrik Pedersen explains. “A go-anywhere chair for any home. This chair is made for rocking.”
The playful design and light-hearted expression of the new Rock chair from BoConcept is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The two buttons look like eyes, and the shape of the seat a happy mouth. This super simple chair with a humorous approach gives chairs a new dimension.
The Lugo is a simple and straightforward sofa concept. The modules are fully upholstered and the armrest has the same angle as the back, so wherever you sit will be comfortable. Lugo builds on a very refined look, together with many possible combinations. The concept itself is very manageable and gives you the freedom of making different sofas from the same units.
Modena is a new storage system from BoConcept optimized for TV/Hi-Fi. Everything is prepared and optimized for home theater, flat screen TVs — since things like cables, venting, room for receivers, CDs/DVDs, Play Stations, etc. have been taken into consideration. The design is non-traditional and features small and sleek sliding doors.
BoConcept offers great designs for any living space. Furniture can be customized and styled to fit any room — no matter the size. With BoConcept, no room is too small or restricted. No design is out of reach. No change is too challenging. There are no limits in BoConcept.
