Celebrating new beginnings
The premier Rotary Club of Makati recently celebrated its 44th Induction Ceremony and Ball at the main lounge of the Manila Polo Club.
The prestigious black-tie affair was well attended by delegations of sister Rotary clubs from the world over as well as notable guests from Manila society.
A colorful fashion show featuring members of the club entertained guests after the formal induction ceremonies, where the presidency was officially turned over from former president Larry Boyer to Felix Amparo.
The event was highly successful thanks to the hard work of the affair’s director, Tessie Amparo, as well as the cooperation of the members of the club.

Special Christmas bazaar
The hardworking group of ladies from Venture 7 including (seated L-R) consul Fortune Ledesma, chairperson Fanny Blanco, Pilie Barrenechea, Celine Bautista, (standing L-R) Chit Gohu, Lita Gelano, and co-chair Linda Villadelgado have once again organized a special Christmas bazaar.
The first of two bazaars will be held on October 4, Sunday, at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel InterContinental Manila from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
