Thai kingdom come
MANILA, Philippines - Long working hours, the daily commute, and the demands of managing a home can easily push one to the brink.
DMCI Homes, the country’ first triple-A builder and developer, offers quality developments that aim to provide a well-balanced lifestyle sought after by city dwellers.
One such development is the Royal Palm Residences, a medium density cluster of eight medium-rise and two high-rise condominium buildings on a four-hectare prime property in Taguig City.
The resort-inspired condominium community is strategically located within DMCI Homes’ Township Central, which is easily accessible via the C-5 road and just a few minutes’ drive from Bonifacio Global City and the Makati Central Business District.
“The resort concept makes it possible for our residents to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere even while they reside within the city,” explains Alfredo Austria, managing director, DMCI Homes.
The Thai-inspired theme of the Royal Palm Residences blends old world charm with modern comforts. It features Thai architectural details such as ornate gables and intricate finial roof designs. Earth tones, purple, and gold are used all over the development. The centerpiece is the Thai-inspired clubhouse, a pavilion that’s seemingly floating on water, following the old Thai practice of building houses on stilts. Clubhouse facilities include an open-air function hall, business center, complete Wi-Fi access, conference rooms, recreation and entertainment rooms, sauna, fitness gym, and a dance studio. Also within the complex are a basketball court, a skating rink, jogging and biking trails, an open playfield.
Water features abound within the tropical spa-like setting. By the clubhouse is an assortment of leisure and lap pools, water cascades, lotus and koi ponds adorned with oriental foliage, aromatic and flower gardens. There’s a barbecue area, a sand pit for children, kiddie pool and an interactive water play area. One hectare or one fourth of the entire property is dedicated to leisure and amenities.
The different condominium building clusters are named after famous Thai beaches and island resorts such as Karon and Kata, where 50 families have already moved into their units. Turnover is scheduled in Phuket and Yanoi. Nui and Pansea are set for completion in October and November this year, while Railay and Samui will be completed in 2010. The two high-rise towers Kamala and Rawai will be launched soon.
The studio unit and one-bedroom unit both measure 53.5-sq.m. Two bedroom units measure 60-sq.m., while the three-bedroom end units measure 91-sq.m.
Three-bedroom tandem units (120-sq.m.) are also available. Most of the units have balconies.
DMCI Homes offers modest income- earning families optimum value for their money by providing homes with exceptional features and amenities and world-standard level of craftsmanship born out of more than 50 years of experience in the construction and development industry.
