A vertical village rises in Las Piñas

There are two important things to consider when scouting for a new home: its location, and accessibility. Southern Metro Manila is no longer as far as it used to be. In fact, those seeking a less harried lifestyle are now moving to Las Piñas.

Ohana Place, DMCI Homes’ first medium-rise residential development in Las Piñas City, is strategically located along the Alabang-Zapote Road, which is just a few minutes away from the Alabang residential area.

Major commercial centers (SM Southmall, Alabang Town Center, and Festival Supermall), hospitals (Alabang Medical Clinic, Asian Hospital, and Perpetual Help Hospital), and exclusive schools (De La Salle Zobel, Woodrose, Southridge, and San Beda College Alabang) are in close proximity, too.

Located in a 3.15-hectare property, Ohana Place will have seven buildings, each named after a known location or tourist destination in Hawaii. The reference to Hawaii isn’t surprising considering that the property, when seen from an aerial perspective, resembles the islands of Hawaii.

Unifying the Hawaiian theme, the mid-rise residential buildings will follow a modern Polynesian design. The buildings will be painted in earth tones to complement the greens throughout the property.

In common areas such as the Luau Pavilion (Grand Clubhouse), the use of natural materials and textured finishes bring a sense of warmth, while traditional tiki-inspired artworks are used as accent pieces.

There are four unit types available: the 21-sqm. studio unit; two-bedroom unit (with floor areas from 42, 49.5, 51, to 60-sqm.); 66-sqm. three-bedroom unit; and tandem unit with a total unit size of 84-sqm.

There’s no need to drive away on weekends to spend quality time with the family. There are adult and kiddie pools, a basketball court, cabanas with grill pits, a children’s playground and pocket parks for the residents to enjoy.

The Luau Pavilion has a lounge area, an air-conditioned function room, a veranda overlooking the pool area, a convenience store, laundry pickup booth, and water station.

As in all developments by DMCI Homes, there’s a Property Management Office (PMO) in charge of security, general maintenance of common areas, move-in assistance, utilities application, utilities, realty tax payment service, and taxi call-in service. For a minimal fee, the PMO also offers car wash service and newspaper delivery.
