The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines recently concluded the 9th Inter Collegiate Finance Competition at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. This year marks the first year the competition went international with the participation of Singapore Management University. The ICFC is the region’s most prestigious annual academic competition in finance where 70 universities and colleges from all over the region participate.
Event partners were Citigroup Foundation & Asian Institute of Management. The top 6 teams for this year’s competition are: Ateneo de Manila University, UP Diliman, Singapore Management University, UP-Iloilo, DLSU-Dasmariñas and DLSU- Manila/UE-Recto (tied for 6th). The ICFC is an annual competition among universities and colleges sponsored by the JFINEX Committee headed by Mark Yu and FINEX executive vice president Grace Palma Tiongco with Tony Boy Ongsiako as liaison director.
