Rejuvenation in paradise
Tucked away within the lush grounds of Plantation Bay lies a rejuvenating hideaway, a private enclave that features a sanctuary of relaxation. The quiet rustling bamboo leaves and the soothing aroma of the seaside air invite you to lose yourself to a completely rejuvenating experience. The newly opened Mogambo Springs Spa reflect a unique splendor exclusive to Plantation Bay’s serene solitude. Conceptualized and designed by Plantation Bay’s indefatigable president Manny Gonzalez together with Arch. Ma. Lourdes Martinez-Onozawa, the Mogambo Springs Spa will be like no other in offering a new dimension of luxury and exclusivity for those who have an appetite for a quintessential spa experience. Featuring local materials in its construction such as treated bamboos, pandan flooring and thatched nipa roofs, the spa evokes and maintains Plantation Bay’s unique Filipino character. “Spoiling yourself and satisfying your thirst for relaxation has never been this easy and invigorating. Mogambo Springs is the oasis that we need for an inexplicably sensational, tranquil experience,” says Plantation Bay GM Efren Belarmino.
Johnny’s Wine of the Week
This week, your columnist recommends the Zonin Prosecco Special Cuvée, a wine containing 100 percent prosecco grapes. It has a bright and luminous straw-yellow color with fine white mousse. The bouquet is extremely fruity, with hints of wisteria blossom. Moderately dry with almondy nuances, typical of the exquisite prosecco grape. An excellent aperitif, it also goes well with delicately flavored appetizers. Exclusively imported and distributed by BestWorld Beverage Brands, 637-8491 to 94, bbbi@pacific.net.ph.
