A princely reception

The distinguished son of Princess of Hanover, Caroline of Monaco, came to the country to visit his mothers charities, Amade and Virlanie Foundation. A cultural dinner was thrown for Andrea Albert Pierre Casiraghi at Ilustrado Restaurant in Intramuros where he discussed the foundations projects with Amade Philippines president Atty. Eric Mallonga, Virlanie Foundation president Dominique Lemay, Amade Mondiale Secretary General Francis Kasasa, Monaco Consul Fortune Ledesma and Manila Mayor Lito Atienza. A delightful program specially prepared for this event included songs and dances from Manilas scholars who come from slum communities. Surely, the princes visit will benefit more of our poor countrymen!
Enhancing friendly relations between the Philippines and Japan has been the sole mission of the hardworking diplomatic couple, Philippine Ambassador to Japan Domingo Siazon and his wife Kay. The kind ambassador recently scored another victory with the lecture of Professor Yoko Yoshikawa at the Chiyoda Public School on "500 Years of Philippine-Japan Relations" and the unveiling of the commemorative plaques commemorating the 50th anniversary of Philippine-Japan diplomatic relations at the ambassadors residence. Leave it to Ambassador Domingo and Madame Kay Siazon to organize activities fostering understanding between the two countries. Keep it up!
