Our daily kneads

BreadTalk, Singapore’s leading and premier boutique bakery, held a special luncheon at Glorietta 4 to a select group of media personalities recently. BreadTalk continually strives for excellence and perfection through both products and service, offering unique and original bread products never before seen and tasted.

Warm and delicious breads with creative designs and imaginative, even funny, names tell of BreadTalk’s positioning: innovative, vibrant, satisfying and simply delightful! Throughout its four-year existence, BreadTalk has received numerous awards, including Most Promising, Brand and Most Popular Brand in the 2002 ASME-SPH Singapore Promising Brand Awards and Number 1 in the Enterprise Start Up Awards.

At this delightful luncheon, BreadTalk managing director Winward Chu, group general manager Frankie Quek and Japanese Fusion masterchef Noriyasu Watanabe took time to sit down and chat about the plans and visions of BreadTalk not only in Asia but the world. The attendees were of course delighted to taste their signature breads such as Floss, Traffic Light, Mr. Beans and their P2,500-worth Pannetone bread. I know that man does not live on bread alone, but with BreadTalk’s delicious baked goodies, who wouldn’t argue?

Going Mexican
South Forbes City, the 250-hectare project of Cathay Land Inc., is being envisioned to be the landmark residential project that meets above average standards. A peaceful and picturesque village located near Sta. Rosa, Laguna, South Forbes City will have all the trimmings of a modern metropolis invisibly tucked under the cover of charming tree-lined walkways, a breezy mini-park, spacious clubhouse and multi-purpose halls, refreshing swimming pools and convenient commercial areas.

South Forbes City recently celebrated fiesta month with its Mexican Festival grand open house. Informatics Robinsons Galleria facilitated the computerized guest registration system especially designed for Cathay Land. Project specialists entertained their clients as they presented the project wearing complete Mexican ensembles.

After the Mass, guests were treated to a sumptuous lunch buffet as they watched their favorite movies from the 54" Samsung projection TV and home theater system as Uni-President products were distributed. Other activity partners included Businessmaker Academy and Sun Cellular.

PGA Cars BMW (EDSA) offered test-drives of the latest BMW 3-series models. Providing the world’s best driving experience is what BMW does best, as guests at the open house felt first-hand the magnificence and sophistication of these machines of luxury. All these activities are just a few of the reasons why families visit South Forbes City.

Grand open houses at South Forbes are more than opportunities for sales and networking – it is also a gathering of families and an avenue for making new friends.
