Scorching hot collections from FurnItalia, the countrys leading distributor of upscale Italian furniture, brings a new sense of cool to dull and drab rooms this summer. Capture the carefree ambiance of the vacation season and update living areas, bedrooms, or dining quarters with an air of sparkle and a dash of color.
"Summer is a great time to redecorate the home because homeowners have more time on their hands. Because of FurnItalias wide array of furniture in various designs, fabrics, and colors, each individual is sure to find a piece to match his or her own personal style," Florence Ko, FurnItalia managing director said.
FurnItalias three-storey showroom in Greenhills is similar to an art gallery filled with remarkable creations from international talents. The works of major designers such as Lord Norman Foster, Richard Meier, Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Rodolfo Dordoni, Vittorio Livi, and F.A. Porsche come to life in leading Italian brands Poltrona Frau, Galli, Longhi, Comfort, Fiam, and Penta. Pristine shipments of Molteni & C system furniture and sofas and Fontana Arte lights have been the favorite of leading interior designers.
This month, FurnItalia also participates in the worldwide celebration of leading Italian brand Poltrona Fraus 90th year. The events highlight is the reissuing of the brands celebrated Modello 904. The limited edition classic armchair of the original 1930s model commemorates Poltrona Fraus rich history, culture and tradition, high quality and status symbol hand craftsmanship, and details enhancement.

Success, whether in the battlefield or in business, is often achieved on the frontlines. In the case of BMW, its market leadership in the country can partly be attributed to the companys front liners in customer care: the BMW dealer network.
Hardworking and visionary company leader BMW Philippines president Mark Gilbert hosted an exclusive get-together for the principal movers in its dealer network, namely, Antonio L. Aquino of Autohaus BMW, Liberato Laus of Pampanga Premier Cars, Jonel Borromeo of Performance Auto BMW, Miguel Coyiuto of PGA Cars BMW, and Jose R. Alvarez Jr. of Prestige Cars BMW. Also present were other members of BMWs top management including sales and marketing director Baudouin Denis, finance director David Blue, and service director Fernando Ferrer.
There was cause for celebration, after all. BMW Philippines surpassed its target by delivering over 800 cars in 2003 for an impressive 60 percent market share of the luxury car segment. Freelance photographer Lucky Besa captured the triumphant feeling in the place, with his photos of the BMW men on top of the world Philamlife Tower, home to BMWs head office and one of the tallest buildings in the country today.
After the stylish photo shoot, the men of BMW headed down to the prestigious Tower Club for cocktails in a private function room. Nobody experienced any vertigo from being up in the helipad these BMW men are so used to being on top!
Congratulations to BMW Philippines!
Fila gave the public a glimpse of one of their 2004 shoe line - Fila Ducati! Fila, known as the trendsetter in product launches with its hip parties held in Mati, Venezia, and Dish at Rockwell, invited more than 300 Ducati bikers with their awesome bikes to unveil the latest Fila Ducati shoe model. Pretty and sexy Fila Ducati girls dressed in the latest Fila getup were there to welcome the lucky invitees. The special guests partied with the lovely ladies, partaking of the pouring drinks and gyrating to the rhythmic beat of a groovy jazz band until the wee hours of the morning. To the tireless and imaginative Cris Albert and Fila Ducati, congrats for your super successful launch!
