Keep fat away sans lipo

SAVOIR FAIRE - SAVOIR FAIRE By Mayenne Carmona -
How can I look good in today’s slinky clothes? I have some excess fat on my belly and I don’t really care for liposuction. Any effective exercises for it?

It is very common for women to be flabby in the belly, regardless of whether you’ve had kids or not. The reason is that our abdominal muscles are among the most underused in the body. Try these exercises: Tuck that tummy naturally or try this throughout the day: Suck in your belly for a few seconds, whether sitting or standing, and do a mini pelvic tilt. Or stand against a wall and press that small of your back against it. Hold it, relax, repeat. You can also do the reverse sit-up: Lie on the floor on your back. Then bend your knees and bring them up to your chest and, using your lower abdominal muscles, extend out your legs. Repeat this movement as many times as you can. Start with 20 times, gradually moving up to 50 repetitions. You will see the improvement in your tummy and you will look fantastic even in your bikini if you do these exercises on a daily basis.

Exercise To Firm Flabby Arms
I am so conscious of my flabby arms. What activities can I do to firm them and make them worth baring?

Sleeveless Freak

Try this: Grab a 3-5 lb. weight and let it hang down by your side. Leaning slightly forward at the waist, bring your elbow up behind you, then slowly straighten out your arm. Bring them down and relax. Repeat movement 12 times in each arm. Increase the number of movements gradually. Make sure you feel some tension on the upper arm while doing the exercise.

Be A Hot Babe – Despite Your Flaws
Every time we go to the beach, my boyfriend and I always have this argument about how decent I look in my beach wear. He says I have a great body and should flaunt it. I would always wear a tankini (one-piece bathing suit) because this is what makes me comfortable. I am 38 years old and have had a child and not confident of my body. I feel my tummy is not flat enough to be in a string bikini and I have some stretch marks. So how can I explain to him that he should let me wear what I please and not what pleases him?

I don’t feel comfortable in teensy bikinis either, but I know how men are. They love looking at women. I would rather that my man ogle me rather than other women. So would I please him by wearing a bikini of his liking? You bet your life, Shy Girl.
All of us do things to make our partners happy even if sometimes it makes us a tad uncomfortable. I believe it is important to go out of our way sometimes and make altruistic gestures for someone we love and who loves us, too – even if it entails some sacrifice on our part. As long as it doesn’t make a ridiculous fool of yourself, why not give in? Let him be the judge of your figure and if he says you have a great body, just believe him. When your mate admires you and desires you and sees all your charms no matter how bare and vulnerable you are, try to take his word over that critical voice in your head that says you’re never good enough. You might enjoy getting a glimpse of yourself in a whole new light – as the hot babe he sees and not the package of flaws you (and I ) fixate on.

Easing The Sting Of A Breakup
I got so brokenhearted from my breakup with my boyfriend that I am not in the mood for another relationship at the moment. However, I really am craving for a one-night stand. Is this a normal reaction for someone who is devastated from a breakup?

After having invested a lot of time and love in your ex boyfriend that didn’t work out, it is understandable that the idea of starting another relationship is overwhelming you. Some people respond to these feelings by retreating and not dating for some time while others want to date right out and be wild. Your desire to have a passionate night of sex sans emotional entanglements might be your way of soothing your feelings. You want to feel sexy again without the emotional work and vulnerability that comes with a commitment. But I would advise you not to do it. There are some solid health reasons behind that warning, which basically involves the risk of contracting different kinds of sexual diseases, including the deadly HIV virus. Plus, a number of studies have shown that people lie about their sexual history when they’re on the prowl – especially those who get together for one-night stands. There are other reasons to consider: He may be a lousy lover, or just a selfish one; or he is disrespectful and aggressive and rough; hence making you feel used, and abused rather than making you feel womanly and sexy. This could be really disappointing and depressing. Remember, the only thing worse than feeling lonely by yourself is feeling lonely with someone in your bed.

Of course, there could be an upside as well, namely the possibility of hot sex. Sudden sexual attraction can be a mind-bending aphrodisiac and self-esteem builder, even when the guy isn’t an amazing lover. And if he happens to be a great lover or wildly attractive, a night of passion can definitely ease the sting of a recent breakup.

But, given that your chances for disappointment are pretty high, you might want to keep this as a delicious fantasy. Sometimes, the best experiences happen in the privacy (and safety) of your own mind. But if you decide to satisfy this craving, don’t let passion get in the way of using a condom. But after the experience, you have to be honest with yourself. Did you really enjoy a night with a total stranger?
