Tudor comes up with bold and fiery timepiece
MANILA, Philippines - What do you get when you put together the attributes of strength, virility and supreme reliability into a watch?
For Tudor, all these traits are perfectly embodied in the Fastrider Black Shield, a timepiece with a fiery temperament featuring a monobloc case in high-tech black matt ceramic. Launched in the Philippines on Tuesday, the elegant timepiece complements every gentleman's style, be it sporty, casual or formal.
This totally black timepiece's monobloc case is monolithic and scratch proof, and the whole case is produced as a single piece using high-tech injected ceramic instead of a mere ceramic coating. The extremely sophisticated procedure is a result of technological expertise acquired in perfecting the bezel for the Pelagos line - ensuring that both the middle case and bezel are both reliable and resistant. The matt finish show off the chronograph's clean curves and taut lines, and highlights the watch's dimensions and tachymetric scale engraved on the bezel.
The watch is waterproof to a depth of 150 meters, fitted with direct-action pushers and a screw-down crown in PVD-treated steel. The 42-millimeter case includes a self-winding chronograph movement with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours.
The timepiece's black case complements very well with its red features including a luminescent red material in the dial.
The timepiece comes with either a rubber strap and a leather strap with red stitching, and just for the watch, Tudor teamed up with Ducati for a one-of-a-kind Diavel Carbon model with a black matt finish and signature red highlighting.
The pubic is invited to check out the Tudor Fastrider Black Shield and the Ducati Diavel Carbon motorbike at the following dates and venues: Shangri-La East Wing, second floor (November 12-16), Newport Mall, ground floor (November 20-23) and Greenbelt 5, ground floor (November 27-30), Glorietta 4, Lucerne, ground floor (December 4-7).
