Alixandra Caole Vila - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – This pool was not built for the faint hearts and weak knees.

As a reference to its depth, the world’s deepest indoor pool is called Y-40 - 40 meters or about 131 feet deep.

Y-40 is situated in Hotel Terme Millepini near Padua, Italy. According to its website, it measures 21 by 18 meters on the surface with 4,300 cubic meters of spa water maintained at a constant temperature of 32-34 Celsius. Guinness says that the pool can hold 1,135,939 gallons of thermal water.
