If you are craving for a good old meat dish, then you should check out Watami’s Short Ribs Rice Lunch Set. The dish is served in a stone pot with rice, tofu, herbs and Watami’s special ginger sauce placed in a wooden box to protect you from getting burned. It comes with miso soup, salad and Japanese cold tea. 

 

First you need to mix the dish altogether so that the special ginger sauce will be spread evenly. The short pork ribs are very tender and the special ginger sauce enhances the taste. Be careful though with the stone pot as it is hot. The tofu, lettuce and herbs add flavor and texture to the dish. The dish has a strong ginger flavor and is a little bit salty which goes well together with the Japanese rice. The warm miso soup is a perfect complement to the dish.
