MANILA, Philippines - Bonifacio Global City (BGC) celebrates the Holiday season with hi-tech entertainment, smart comedy acts and a bright colorful skyline.
BGC's Christmas Augmented-Reality treats children and adults a like to a world of computer-generated video play. Here, one can watch oneself hula hoop with Mrs. Claus, play with the elves and dance with Santa in real-time with Santa Claus on a 9-feet by 15-feet LED screen. It is on from 7 pm to 8:30 pm daily at Bonifacio High Street.
BGC's Symphony of Lights sees the district's skyline adorned with multi-colored Christmas lights. It is a contest among BGC's locators who are presently constructing their establishments. They have decorated their tower cranes and overhead street protection with Christmas-themed decor like leaping reindeer, blue angels, Christmas lanterns, buntings and Holiday greetings.
Every Saturday this December until the 22nd, the Silly People's Improv Theater (SPIT) entertains BGC residents and visitors with spontaneous comedy shows. Their performances are unscripted, tasteful and hilarious and are sure to leave one feeling jolly all night.
BGC's different commercial areas also offer options in gifts, food, and party venues.
Completing the celebration of the Christmas season in BGC is the anticipated “Simbang Gabi.” This will be celebrated in BHS every 7PM beginning December 15, 2012.
