Kris Aquino to share 'very important statement' on her condition — Boy Abunda
MANILA, Philippines — Boy Abunda announced that Kris Aquino will be issuing a statement regarding her condition later today, coinciding with the TV host-actress' 53rd birthday.
“A couple of days ago ay nakausap ko po ang aking kapatid, si Kris Aquino. Tomorrow, she is celebrating her birthday," Boy said during yesterday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."
“And we’re going live again tomorrow dahil Kris requested me to read a very important statement tungkol sa kanyang kalagayan," he added.
Boy said that Kris wanted the public to know her true condition because she owes it to them.
“Sabi nga niya, ‘Utang ko sa milyun-milyong tao na nagdarasal para sa akin.’ At sabi niya, ‘Boy, it has to be you. You have to read my statement para maunawaan ng tao,’" Boy said.
“Kris is going through a very difficult time in her life. Sabi niya sa akin, ‘Para mas maintindihang mabuti, promise me, Boy, you will not cry.’ Sabi ko, ‘Kris, hihintayin ko ang iyong statement and I will try not to cry…’” he added.
Kris has been seeking treatment for her autoimmune diseases in the United States since June 2022.
