Sharon Cuneta explains absence in KC Concepcion's film premiere night
MANILA, Philippines — "Mega Star" Sharon Cuneta explained why she was not able to attend the premiere night of her daughter KC Concepcion's international film "Asian Persuasion."
In her Instagram account, Sharon said she attended the Philippine Legacy Gala 2023 where she was given the Philippine Legacy Laurel Award in Music.
"Happy to have received an award tonight but sad I couldn’t make habol to your premiere! Congrats, baby. Love you," Sharon wrote.
Sharon reposted on her Instagram account KC's post.
“Guys, this month na ipapalabas sa Pinas ‘tong movie namin na shinooting sa New York City. Tungkol sa mag-asawa na nag hiwalay (yours truly & @dantebasco) at tinatakasan ng ex husband ko ang babayaran nya na alimonya," KC wrote.
"Kaya nag joined forces sila ng bestie nya na si @kevin.kreider para pa in-lovin ako kay @itspaolomontalban ng ma solve na ung problema nya. Baka may free time kayo, see you sa sinehan? Prepare nyo na English nyo lumalabas ang pag ka ingelesera ko dito!!!" she added.
Sharon's ex-husband and KC's father Gabby Concepcion was present during the premiere night.
He walked down the red carpet with his daughter KC.
