'So far kinakaya naman': Janella Salvador shares struggles as a single mom
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Janella Salvador revealed that she is having a hard time being a single mom.
For the actress who tries to balance her time between acting on the screen and taking care of her son Jude, Janella confessed that it is not an easy task. This is most certainly true, as she is set to do more projects this year.
In Boy Abunda's column on Pilipino Star Ngayon, Janella said she has so many projects lined up.
"Naku! Ngayon talagang diyan ako nahihirapan, ‘yung balansehin ang family life at career sa showbiz pero so far kinakaya naman," Janella said.
Despite the hardships, Janella said she is happy now, and that is the reason why she is "glowing."
“I think what gives you that natural glow is genuine happiness that you feel inside. I’m not getting any younger, that’s why I also follow a healthier diet and a more active lifestyle," she said.
"I started to work out again after a really long rest after 'Darna.' I guess that’s what makes me glow,” she added.
Reports say that Janella is reuniting with Joshua Garcia in a series that will be shot in London. Last year, they starred in the fantasy series "Darna" after starring in the 2019 murder mystery drama "The Killer Bride." The actress is also rumored to do a film with Thai star Win Metawin.
Meanwhile, Janella has been chosen as the new celebrity endorser for Shepu Appu Slimming Juice, a new product from You Glow Babe.
You Glow Babe Chief Executive Officer Jizel Mangilit announced the actress' endorsement during a media conference held at the Seda Hotel in Quezon City last June 15. This is the second time that a celebrity has been tapped to endorse the beauty product. Actress Kyline Alcantara was its first celebrity endorser.
