Snacking minus the guilt
Not all snacks are made equal. Not everyone is pro-snack either. There are those who prefer not to have snacks at all. Others believe that snacks help the body recover from exercise, help sustain energy levels and help increase nutrient intake.
Nutritionists would immediately recommend fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts or cheese as healthy options. That would be perfect if you could prepare snack boxes with cut-up fruits or vegetable sticks. But what if you do not have the time to shop for fresh produce or you don’t have a chiller to keep them fresh?
For that energy boost without the guilt, check out the healthy snacks from Cravewell, a brand of premium-quality, least-processed snacks that lets you give in to your cravings with less difficulty.
These nibbles are made with 100-percent real fruits and veggies. Mixed Veggies Crisps? is a mix of okra, purple sweet potato, string bean, carrot, pumpkin and sweet potato. It comes in three flavors: wasabi, crab curry and kimchi.

We got ahold of the founder and owner of Cravewell, Jennifer Tan, to learn more about craving well.
THE PHILIPPINE STAR: What inspired you to develop Cravewell healthy snacks?
JENNIFER TAN: There is a misconception that anything healthy is bland, unsatisfying, and sometimes a “torture” to consume. On top of this, it is oftentimes labeled as expensive and not for everyone. We felt so strongly about these two realities. We want to break that mindset by offering a product that is for everyone — deliciously satisfying, better for you, no guilty feeling and truly affordable. As a cherry on top, we also want to make it fun and perfect for the family. That is how we enjoyed snacking in our family and we want to share this with everyone.
What is your bestseller? Why?
It’s still varied as we just launched Cravewell. However, we do observe some crowd favorites like Tropic Fruit Crisps, Banana Crisps Barbecue & Sriracha, Mixed Veggie Crisps Crab Curry and Purple Roots Sour Cream & Onion. We highly suggest getting hold of the Cravewell Sampler Bundle to try all 10 flavors of Cravewell and four product offers, too. There is surely a pack or two for every member of the family. Cravewell will continue to develop products to make better-for-you snacks mainstream and available for everybody. We are continuously developing products and will introduce new ones by 2021.
What makes Cravewell different from other available healthy snacks in the market?
There are three things that really set us apart. First, our products are 100-percent real fruits and veggies. Second, we offer a variety of fun flavors. Third, our products are reasonably priced. Especially now that people stay home more, snacks are always part of movie marathons, bonding, playing and catching up. As we grow older, we become more mindful of what we consume. That’s when we realized that healthy snacks are hard to access — either it’s too expensive or it’s not sold locally. This started our search for real, honest-to-goodness snacks, no artificial anything and just really the good stuff. From months of research and years of product development and improvement, we are proud snackers of our own products. No guilty feeling, only the satisfied feeling of treating our bodies well while curbing that craving. We’d love for everyone to try and find out for yourselves, too!
