Family fun time this summer at Lancaster New City

MANILA, Philippines – The fun summer heat is on and there's just something about this season that makes everyone feel free.

The Grand Family Weekend is open to all families who would like to enjoy a Sunday that’s jam-packed with activities for parents and children alike.

What better way to start enjoying Labor Day than joining the 3K, 5K or 10K Fun Run inside Lancaster New City? At 5 a.m., join hundreds of people in experiencing a Fun Run adventure for the first time inside Lancaster New City Cavite’s 1,400-hectare township development. Fun Run enthusiasts and first-timers alike will be wearing the Grand Family Weekend shirts and will be receiving fabulous freebies from wellness sponsors.

Fun Run fees are:

• Mini Race (3 km) – P300
• Challenge Race (5 km) – P400
• Long Distance Road Race (10 km) – P500

Fun Run Registration Sites are: Toby’s Sports SM Bacoor, The District Imus, and Festival Mall branches until April 29, Friday.

Registration at selected Toby’s Sports outlets is extended until April 29, Friday.

Unlike other similar activities, the Grand Family Weekend is a full-day event where you may enjoy and experience different family activities for free!

The health conscious may go to the wellness corner and receive facials, hair analysis and massages, to name a few. You may also mingle with families and friends at the Healthy Weekend market and discover yummy, guiltless treasures.

Parents may also pick from two to three healthy talks happening that day. Learn about the benefits of malunggay, luya and organic food and get to understand the family love language.

For the kids and young-at-heart, there will be kite-making workshops, aerial kite display, arts and crafts, pet feeding, a 3D trick art wall and fireworks display that will keep their eyes and hands busy all throughout Sunday.

This is definitely a once-a-year summer event that you should not miss! Head to CAVITEX (Cavite Expressway) this May 1 and go to Lancaster New City, the Family Friendly City, to experience a real and unforgettable family bonding.
