Despite the fact that aging is a natural occurrence, most of us are still terrified of what time does to our appearance. This is primarily because of the fact that we live in a world that puts a premium on an individual’s aesthetic appeal.
Sure, some people will flaunt the virtues of self-acceptance and aging gracefully, but we are all unique creatures with our own individuality. As long as other people see the benefits of looking younger or correcting perceived flaws, be it in their love lives or personal lives, jobs or private businesses, or for any other reason, dermatologic and aesthetic procedures will continue to be an option.
The development of creases, lines on the face, and migration of fats in unwanted places are just a few of the most common and prominent signs of aging and are usually what most people try to get rid of when they undergo some kind of cosmetic procedure.
Our generation is very lucky because we are in a time where revolutionary transformations in the field of aesthetics have never been given the same high. This is an era where cosmetic rejuvenation has become simpler, less aggressive, with decreased downtime (recuperation takes just a day or two or even none at all) as well as increased safety and decreased morbidity (injury or complication).
Nowadays, facial rejuvenation involves a combination of procedures that are minimally invasive and even painless, which can then be tailored to the needs of those who want to look younger and beautiful.
Just years ago, traditional facelift surgeries were complicated procedures that were invasive and took time to heal. However, newer methods of less invasive facelifting have now entered the scene. These include state-of-the-art lasers and sculpting devices, plus the latest batch of thread lifts (different from APTOS, contour threads, silhouette lifts, feather lifts and 24-karat thread lifts, etc.). A number of benefits come with these new devices and threads, including the fact that they are very convenient, cost effective, and the results are almost immediate. Like any other facelift procedure, a thread facelift is not permanent, but results are excellent enough to help eliminate or at least erase the obvious signs of aging for at least two years, and the fact that this latest thread is absorbable, you can always put a few once for maintenance after two years without spending much. You can just add a few threads to maintain the improvement achieved after the first procedure was performed. It’s just like a finishing touch, where you put a few threads here and there where it is starting to sag again. The thread facelift requires the cosmetic surgeon to insert thin threads into the patient’s skin through tiny needles (very tolerable but for those with a low threshold for pain, nerve blocks can be incorporated in the procedure), which are attached to the skin tissue so that when the threads are pulled back, the face is lifted and the area smoothened almost immediately. During the procedure, the patient will remain fully awake and in most cases, no anesthesia is provided. The threads are small enough to remain hidden in the skin itself while any scarring that might have occurred will be virtually invisible.
As mentioned earlier, the thread facelift procedure is not for everyone and will only help those with moderate facial sagging. In moderately severe cases of sagging, we can combine it with laser sculpting for maximum results or the patient could opt for a surgical facelift, followed by laser scar treatment, then the sculpting device. In cases with a lot of dynamic wrinkles, meaning wrinkles brought about by facial expressions, such as smiling and worrying, thread lifts are best combined with botox. These absorbable thread lifts can also rejuvenate the neck areas, removing a slightly beginning sagging in those areas. Double chins can also be minimized. In patients where liposuction of the double chin was done, thread lifts are also very helpful to prevent sagging of the skin after fats were removed. It can also be used as a rhinoplasty procedure for increasing the height of one’s nose and many others.
And the fact that the procedure takes roughly about one to two hours to complete and requires no anesthesia, the thread facelift cost will be significantly less than the regular facelift methods, although the prices will vary from one patient to another, depending on the severity of the problem. Most thread facelift reviews show the customers being happy with the work performed. And what makes it different from the other thread lifts available is that the sutures do not accumulate inside your skin because they are absorbed by your body in 180 to 240 days. Yet, as a result of the inflammation that it created, it produces the following effects: production of collagen by foreign material reaction, increase in blood flow, increase in metabolism, tissue adhesion, anchoring effect around foreign material, minimized cellulite, relaxed muscle. These effects will result in the following: increased skin elasticity, minimized double chin and neck wrinkles, improved cellulite, reduced arm sagging, lifted butt, reshaped calf.
