MANILA, Philippines - People who are naturally inclined to help others and want to make a career out of it but don’t have the time, opportunity, and resources to pursue a college degree or graduate studies in psychology can now become the life coach they want to be.
The Philippine Society of Life Coaches is coming up with a Life Coach Certification program designed by Filipinos for Filipinos on Oct. 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25 at 105 Scout Rallos St., Timog, Quezon City.
Facilitator is Dr. Randy Dellosa, the only Filipino who is a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, and certified life coach rolled into one.
The program, which consists of 12 weekends that focus on the life coach’s character development, is highly-experiential with plenty of skills-building activities.
Teaching methods include self-awareness exercises, lectures, discussions, skills-building activities, video analysis, home assignments, actual practice, and supervision.
Life coaching is the art and science of helping people manage their problems and make positive changes in their lives.
