MANILA, Philippines - More cases of hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart attack are reported after the holidays due to overindulgence, lack of exercise and stress, among other factors. But this is no longer the case for Rolly, an insurance executive, whose blood pressure had ceased rising for a year now because of Buteyko breathing.
Rolly, who suffered from sleep apnea, hypertension and weight gain for years, was able to stop using his CPAP machine and then phased out his hypertensive medicines when he began practicing Buteyko breathing, a safe, drug-free, and effective technique that has helped thousands of Filipinos find immediate relief from chronic diseases such as hypertension, a leading cause of heart attack and stroke.
Buteyko breathing primarily relieves asthma, and other lifestyle diseases, including allergies, anxiety disorders, snoring, sleep apnea, and even immune and hormonal imbalance
