Tagbilaran Health Center is rebuilt as Felicidad Sy Wellness Center
MANILA, Philippines - The Tagbilaran City Main Health Center is now the 88th Felicidad T. Sy Wellness Center, the seventh SMFI-BDO jointly rehabilitated health center.
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Bohol in October 2013, caused cracks on the health center’s walls, ceiling, and flooring; thus, SM Foundation & BDO Foundation jointly undertook the complete rehabilitation of the Center.
The health center is a vital structure in the city as it also houses the City Health offices and extends health services to 15 barangays with a population of over 100,000. Daily, the Center serves 120 patients. It has the 3-in-1 PhilHealth accreditation for the following: Out-patient Benefit Package (OPB), Tuberculosis-Directly Observed Treatment Strategy (TB-DOTS), and Maternity Care Package (MCP).
As a rehabilitated health center, it now has a laboratory, dental room, treatment area, consultation area, TB-Dots Room, family planning room, prenatal/postnatal room, immunization area, and an FTS Wellness Center for Children and the Elderly.
