Golfers, rejoice!

TaylorMade-adidas Golf (TMaG)  the world’s largest golf company, well-known for creating technologies that help golfers hit better shots  has outdone itself again with the launch of the new SLDR driver and SpeedBlade irons in the Philippines.

The new equipment were unveiled during the three-day Product Experience event held last October 8-10 in three key cities in Metro Manila: Southpoint Driving Range, Alabang, Muntinlupa City; Villamor Golf Club Driving Range, Pasay City; and LogCom Driving Range, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Not even the torrential rains that plagued the country last week could stop the game’s faithful from attending the demo days to try out the two new equipment from TaylorMade. Everyone was eager to get his hands on the new SLDR, the longest driver in company history. Featuring an easy and intuitive sliding weight system engineered to launch the golf ball high, fast, and long, the SLDR also allows the golfer to easily adjust the loft by choosing from 12 positions within a range of plus-or-minus 1.5 degrees of loft change. The more loft added, the more the face closes and vice-versa.

Hundreds of golfers also experienced the SpeedBlade, a game-improvement iron that launches the ball exceptionally high and far. They experienced for themselves the extraordinary distance, performance, and forgiveness of the highly anticipated iron offering from TaylorMade.

Product specialists from TaylorMade Singapore were on hand to assist those who attended Product Experience and also to answer golfers’ queries on the clubs’ technologies and how to optimize them.

I was lucky to have had the chance to try the clubs before they hit the local stores since I was fortunate to have been given the opportunity in Singapore last month. The clubs were absolutely fantastic! It’s no wonder the people behind the brand were so excited about finally launching the brand here in the country.
