Bikers in costume at Tour of the Fireflies this Nov. 18

MANILA, Philippines - Around 10,000 to 15,000 bikers in costume are expected to converge in the Firefly Brigade's 14th Tour of the Fireflies this Sunday, November 18.
The tour will commence at 5 am at the Fonterra Drive of Tiendesitas in Pasig City with a stopover at the Plaza del Zapateros in Marikina City. It will be capped off by a concert featuring The Jerks, Color It Red and the Dakila Collective artists.
This year's theme is BEST, which stands for bicycles for environmentally sustainable transportation.
"The event is primarily aimed to support the government's environmental projects on Clean Air and Environmentally Sustainable Transportation strategy," according to the group's statement.
It is also being held in line with the Philippine Clean Air month celebrations and the kick-off event of the Philippine Climate Change Consciousness Week.
