Young leaders as positive change makers

- The Philippine Star

Manila, Philippines -  Four months after the successful run of the first ever ARC (Asiawide Refreshments Corporation) Young Leaders Camp, the first batch of ARC Young Leaders met again to power up their promise to proactively engage in becoming positive change makers and future leaders of the nation.

Members of Batch Kilubansa (or Kilusan ng mga Kabataan para sa Bansa) convened at the corporate office of ARC in Quezon City for a two-day workshop and planning session to identify, implement, and monitor future projects.

To prepare them for the daunting yet rewarding responsibility of becoming change catalysts, the group, composed of 40 commendable and underserved student youth leaders from Greater Metro Manila, underwent free training to further hone their leadership knowledge and guide them in the right direction in planning and delivering their activities and projects.

But it was not all work for the young leaders.  In between sessions and presentations, members of Batch Kilubansa found time to chat, share, laugh, and catch up with each other, cementing the bond that was formed during the February camp.
