Manila, Philippines - The Philippine Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists will hold its 6th Annual Meeting & Clinical Congress August 9-12 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City. Dubbed as “ENDOCS: Endocrinology, Nutrition, Diabetes, Osteoporosis: Controversies and Solutions,” the convention also serves as the 4th Joint Meeting with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
The international meet promises to be of top scientific caliber as it also holds the first “Meet the Mayo Clinic Professors” symposium in the country with renowned experts like nutrition expert Dr. M. Molly McMahon, andrology expert Dr. Todd Nippoldt, and Dr. Robert A. Wermers who will discuss bone metabolism disorders, and AACE past president Dr. Hossein Gharib, recipient of the 1st Augusto D. Litonjua Distinguished Clinician Award to be presented this year.
The distinguished faculty from abroad also includes Drs. Richard Donnelly (UK), John Vincent Flores (Singapore), Marc Evans (UK), Yoshimitsu Yamasaki (Japan), and Kathleen Wyne (US). They are joined by our own renowned experts AACE Phils. president emeritus and adviser Dr. Augusto D. Litonjua; Drs. Richard Elwyn Fernando, Froilan De Leon, May Sison, Bernardo Conde, Rima Tan, Lynn Gomez; Diabetes Phils. president Dr. Susan Yu-Gan; nutrition experts Sanirose Orbeta and Gemma Dimaano; and past AACE Phils. presidents Drs.
