Manila, Philippines - Singapore-based French-Filipino Christine Amour-Levar is launching The Smart Girl’s Handbook to Being Mummylicious in Manila on Aug. 25, 4 p.m. at Powerbooks, Greenbelt 4.
Mother of four and ex-fashion retail entrepreneur, Amour-Levar gives down-to-earth advice to pregnant women on how to get their body and groove back after pregnancy.
The tone of the book is that of a girlfriend sharing her experiences and advice after having had four children and getting back into shape after each grueling pregnancy. The 19 chapters are peppered with fun, personal anecdotes as well as interesting facts and research to help pregnant women navigate the pitfalls of early motherhood. Witty watercolor illustrations will keep readers chuckling along the way.
